Happy Father's Day to all Dad's

I would like to dedicate this  ROM Community Blog on Father's Day to an artist and a friend
       Walter J. "Bear" Zaremba Jr. - July 5, 1950 - May 28, 2011

This is from his wife Christine put so beautifully:

When we hear your music played, we will wish that you had stayed.
But it was time for you to go, you left us sad, we loved you so.
The wind chimes will now sing your tune as your shadow passes by the moon.
You paddle with the ocean tide over on the other side.
And when we want to be with you we'll look inside at what we knew
of a Bear whose stories we will keep
to make us smile or help us sleep -            c.t.zaremeba

My Thanks to Stephen Martin & Eric (Snake) Gulliksen & Kathe et al, for putting on this wonderful Tribute to the Life of the friend we simply called "Bear". It was held today at the Catbird Cafe inside The New England Wildlife Ctr in Weymouth. It was such a wonderful and heartfelt tribute to "Bear" and his family and all of us that loved him.

Hoping you all had a wonderful weekend and Father's Day. There is so much to say! Things have been  busy!!!

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
