A few updates and a closure of this particular Blog!!

Hi all, here are some important updates I would like to share with you. 
As many of you already know, the amazing Ellen Schmidt has already transitioned from her Final Tuesday evening Savoury Lane due to an ownership change. The next formerly Savoury Feature’s for February will indeed happen. They are being re-located to the Emerson Umbrella as stated here by  Ellen..
Tonight!  Emerson Umbrella Open Mike!  Open mike 7:30 – 10:30, features at 8:30!
Ruth Canonico and Randall Kromm with Seth Connelly. .Emma Kromm will perform a mini-set at 8:15 in the Downstage Room at 7:30. Randall is performing tonight as part of his CD release tour!
Tuesday Night!  - Former Savoury Lane Open Mike taking place at Emerson Umbrella during February in the Musketaquid Room  7:30 - 10:30, feature at 8:30 
My daughter Wendy Santis and I will feature, accompanied by Seth Connelly, Hatrack Gallagher and Jackie Damsky!  Cheryl Perreault will perform a mini-set at 8:15. This night is our annual benefit for the Boston Natural Areas Network!  Jake will have a similar benefit celebration for BNAN in August!

I know NOT where you draw your strength and my best wishes to Ellen and all that work and help you with both the long standing Emerson Umbrella and the New Nourish Restaurant.

I also do want to remind all of you that on 2-12-11 at 4PM Junko Ogawa will take the stage at the Midway Cafe at 349 Washington St. Jamaica Plain, 02136. Junko will open the first of many on for that evening and it is my plan to be there and hope to see as many of you as possible. Junko’s Feature list is growing at a wonderful pace. I hope to see all of you at our Valentine’s Day show Featuring New Hampshire neighbor and incredible singer/songwriter, Amy Petty (www.amypetty.com). I spoke with Amy yesterday and she is really excited about her ROM Feature!!!

Due to some technical issues with this early version of my ROM Blog, this will be the Final POST!! Please understand that does NOT mean I am giving up the idea of the Blog but rather enhancing it!!! I am being assisted by competent help in the better direction and understanding of Blogging! Those of you that know me understand I am NOT computer savvy but always wanting to learn more!
